Terms and Conditions

Registration with Coco Education (creating an account)

When booking onto an entrance exam or training course we require you to register to create an account and provide us with certain information about yourself. In doing this, you agree to:

• Provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration form
• Maintain and promptly update the data we hold by logging into your account and updating via ‘My space’

Fees

1. All fees are in Singapore dollars (S$). Fees and payment arrangements are agreed upon at time of registration.
2. Every year, fees are reviewed and subject to revision. As and when fees are revised, the new fees will be applicable to all existing and new students.
3. All published fees are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Payment

1. Fees for new registered students must be paid at the point of registering courses via Coco Education’s online registration system. It is understood and agreed that failure to do so may result in withdrawal from the course and cancellation of the enrolment.
2. Billing takes place at the commencement of each semester, and payment due date is 1 week after billing date. Fees for each semester must be paid in advance for entire term after bill issued and within the stipulated periods.
3. All major credit and debit cards are accepted in addition to cash and cheque. A receipt will be sent to you by email from Coco Education confirming payment.
4. We cannot invoice for fees, or accept payment, by instalments.

Overdue charges

1. An overdue payment fee of S$50 is chargeable if any invoiced amount is not received by Coco Education by the due date.
2. Students who fail to pay fees within 2 weeks after the due date will have their names removed from the registered courses.

Refunds and replacement classes

1. Due to the proprietary information, intellectual property, investment of time in entrance registration and support, the paid course fee is NOT refundable or transferrable.
2. If a session is cancelled for whatever reason, we will arrange a replacement class for you in the same week of the current term. Such classes must be attended within the current term and do not roll over to the next term. We do not offer any refunds.
3. Any pre-registered session may only be rescheduled with prior notice of a minimum of 1 week. Replacement sessions under this circumstance will be arranged by Coco Education within the same week depending on vacancies of other classes at the same level and cannot be 1-1 sessions.

Ownership and intellectual property rights

All course materials, whether on the website or offline classes, are owned by Coco Education. All intellectual property rights in all materials available from Coco Education, including the design, graphics and text of all printed materials and the audio of all webinars and podcasts, shall remain the sole property of Coco Education. When you are given access to the course materials, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the content. No content may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed or linked to in any way, in whole or in part, without Coco Education’s prior permission. Any such use is strictly prohibited and will constitute an infringement of Coco Education’s intellectual property rights.

Consent

Our student’s photograph and/or image in video and competition results may be selected to be used as part of the ongoing documentation process in Coco Education.  Documentation is a valuable part of developing programmes and session content in Coco Education.  Some of these contents may then be chosen to showcase the work of the students in Coco Education, on our website or social media platforms or in our advertisements.

Prevailing terms and conditions

Please note that this and all other Coco Education pre-contractual documentation shall not constitute an offer. All services provided by Coco Education are on the basis of these Terms and Conditions and if you wish to engage any Coco Education services we shall only provide them if you accept the Terms and Conditions. If you offer to engage Coco Education on your own terms and conditions then we shall only accept your offer subject to the Terms and Conditions, which shall, if we provide the services you offer to engage, prevail over any other terms and conditions.
