Teacher Lucas (Nyong Jong Lin) holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Malaya and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Mathematics Education with Technology. With experience teaching secondary school students, he is passionate about guiding learners to view mathematics as more than numbers and formulas.

He believes Math Olympiad is a journey of curiosity, experimentation, and inspiration — where students learn to ask questions, test ideas, and discover creative solutions. By weaving together problem-solving, visualization, and technology, Mr. Lucas creates lessons that are both challenging and enjoyable.

Known for his warm and approachable style, Mr. Lucas connects easily with students and makes learning feel encouraging and fun. He takes the time to understand each child, helps them build confidence, and inspires them to enjoy mathematics while developing the skills to thrive in Math Olympiad competitions and beyond.
