Background

The National Mathematical Olympiad of Singapore (NMOS) is an annual national competition organized by the NUS High School of Mathematics and Science since 2006.

Eligibility:

NMOS is open for Primary 5 students and below in all primary schools in Singapore. Only school teachers can register students for the contest. No individual registration is allowed.

Format:

Language: English
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
No calculators are allowed.

Number of Questions: 35
Q1–10: 1 mark each
Q11–20: 2 marks each
Q21–30: 3 marks each
Q31–35: 4 marks each

Contest Date:

The contest is usually held in July every year
